Visitor Information

Welcome to the Randolph Region, the geographic center and "Heart of Vermont."

Our landscapes are a blend of farmsteads, covered bridges, rolling hills, and winding branches of the White River. We enjoy the typical four seasons plus mud season, an acquired taste, and cherish the fact we live in a postcard-like setting. And we’d like you to know more about what the Region has to offer.

Although we are proud of our agricultural roots, we are also positioning ourselves to be ready for the demands of the future. You can see this philosophy exemplified by three important and long-standing institutions in our area: Chandler Music Hall, Gifford Medical Center, and Vermont Technical College. Their programs and facilities continue to grow to meet the changing economic, cultural, social, and health needs of our community and the world around us. Our local businesses often cite these institutions as having influenced their decision for doing business here.

Our traditions continue to have a strong influence on our local fairs and festivals; the Tunbridge World’s Fair, the Brookfield Ice Harvest Festival, and the Randolph Fourth of July Parade and Celebration are just a few examples. More recently-developed annual festivals—the New World Festival and the Fiddlehead Festival—have also heightened our awareness of our heritage. Good music, good food, good company, and a nod of thanks to our ancestors and our agricultural roots have also been good reasons to celebrate.

As you look through our Member Directory, you'll find a wide selection of places to dine, shop, and stay. We're glad you're visiting and hope you enjoy the many of the things we enjoy about the region. And we hope you share your story with us while you're here.

Thank you for taking an interest in our region. If you are “from these here parts,” we hope you visit a few new attractions, businesses, and events this year. If you're visiting, we hope you enjoy your stay. Please call us at the Chamber at 802-728-9027 for information and click on the Calendar of Events.
