By incorporating tried-and-true methods of marketing along with newer ways of finding an audience, the Chamber is addressing the promotional needs of our member businesses while also marketing the area towns and region. Please explore the following programs available to assist in promoting and marketing your products and services and choose what works for you.

Website Advertising
Banner Ads
The Chamber will place your banner advertising on the side bar of the Home Page. The cost of banner advertising on the home page is $400 for six months or $700 for the year. Banners will serve as a link to your website.
Tile Ads
Tile advertising appears at the bottom of the home page and provides a graphic button (your logo or photo) serving as a portal to your website. They can also appear on the attraction page, town page, or area info page. The cost of a tile ad is $175 per year.
Membership Web-Directory
With our new Member Login you will be able to edit your directory listing plus you have a choice of the following enhancements:
Standard Listing
Included with your Chamber membership is a basic listing in our directory. The standard listing will include your business name, a brief description, mailing address and physical location, telephone number, and links to your website and email, and links to your social networking sites . Free with membership!
Enhanced Listing
For an additional fee you can choose an enhanced listing to include any or all of the following:
  • With Logo or Photo - $15.00 per upload - we'll uplaod your photo or logo
  • With Video Clip - $25 per upload - we'll upload your video.
Member Web Page
We offer a unique opportunity to members who’d like to have a web page and never seem to find the time or budget to do so. Let our web design team create a page for you so you can have a url to share with clients, a detailed description of your product and services, a link to a paypal account, and up to three images or your logo. Three templates are offered to help you tell the story of your business. The cost of a webpage, the url assignment, and the hosting for one year through our website is $300. And you can edit the content yourself through you member login!
Monthly E-news Letters along with Event Emails
We will include your information in our monthly e-newsletters. If you’re running an event through us, such as a mixer, we will also send out a special event email and postcard.
RACC Facebook Link
We’re on Facebook, posting events and photo albums, and promoting discussion about economic health in our region. Be a fan!

Area Guide Advertising
In 2009 the Chamber created its first regional area guide (see Home). This annual publication highlights the 11 towns of the Chamber area (see Area Info) with maps, articles, resources, display advertising and directory listings. Advertising and directory listings are available to members at preferred rates and to non-members. The 2010 Guide’s advertising is being sold now – space is limited in this 64-page booklet with an anticipated 10,000 copies to be printed and downloadable pdf. Download the Area Guide Sell Sheet
Fourth of July Supplement Advertising
Local businesses show their support of this popular community event every year by purchasing advertising in the Fourth of July Supplement. 4000 copies are circulated as inserts in the Herald and at local information centers. The insert includes articles, a calendar of events, and a map of the parade route and where to find parking.
Color-Coded Information Square at Exit 4
You are invited to lease a 6” x 6” square of color-coded advertising on the Vermont Information Board at Exit 4 between Rinker’s Snack Shop and McDonald’s Restaurant. This board receives MANY visitors. Would you like to make the most of that attention? Please note we’ve re-shingled and painted the kiosk and added new maps. We will create a 6” x 6” square and post it at the Board for $50 for 6 months or for $80 for one year. The square itself will be made at no charge for members and for a $15 fee for non-members.
Business After Hours Mixers
Mixers offer a chance to informally network with your friends and colleagues. Unlike a social event for people in the same trade or industry, a Chamber mixer allows easy access to businesses that can complement your business rather than compete. The collective energy of a chamber membership can help an area better survive economic upheavals and even thrive as they subside.
Holiday Shopping Card Promotion
The popular Holiday Shopping Card Event, Look Local, Buy Local, Win Local is designed to recognize that many shoppers in the Randolph region enjoy shopping locally and appreciate an incentive to do so. Approximately 2000 cards were turned in last year by shoppers with 36 merchants participating. Merchants pay a fee to participate in the promotion ($30 for Chamber members and $40 for non-members) and also sponsor a $25 gift certificate to be given as a prize on one of the four weeks the promotion runs. Shoppers who turn in fully stamped cards representing $100 spent are entered for weekly, grand and bonus prize drawings.
