CHAMBER FALL GOLF CLASSIC 2010

On September 11, 2010 area golfers will step up to the tee for the Randolph Area Chamber's annual Fall Golf Classic Tournament at Montague Golf Club. The Classic is a significant fundraising event for the Randolph Area Chamber of Commerce, with proceeds helping to administer programs to promote the Heart of Vermont communities and businesses. read more...

Main Street American Flag Program Coordinated By: Randolph Rotary Club Vfw Post 9449 American Legion Post 9

This is an on going project that can be accomplished every year with the financial support of local business owners. The cost of sponsoring a Flag and mounting bracket is $30.00. These are American made, Valley Forge Flag sets and will last for two summers. We are planning to put approximately seventy Flags out and would appreciate your support. read more...

Businesses & Community Join in Support of RTCC Grads

Many local business owners, employees, families and other community members showed their support by bowling, buying raffle tickets, and purchasing Super Spares and Mulligans. Valley Bowl on Prince St. generously hosted the event. Along with the many company and family teams entered in the tournament, this year seven companies sponsored youth teams: Ferriter Oil, Frankenburg Agency, Lucky’s Trailer Sales, Orange County Sheriff's Dept., Pursuant Research, Randolph Area Community Development Corp., and Vermont Technical College. "Approximately $1500 will be able to go toward 2010 scholarships for Randolph Technical Career Center Graduates" reported Deb Jones, Director of the Chamber, "and we certainly appreciate RTCC’s, VTC's, Valley Bowl's and the other business sponsors and community members who helped to make this possible." read more...

Shopping Card Grand Prize and Bonus Prize Winners Announced

Approximately 6300 cards were distributed this holiday season with 2002 completed cards turned in for drawings over the four weeks of the promotion. Of those cards, several hundred were eligible for the bonus drawing. In 2008 the total number of completed holiday shopping cards turned in was 1238. "I knew the promotion was helping our local merchants when we had to ask Spaulding Press to print 1500 more cards to meet demand. The extra drop off locations were helpful to shoppers, too," noted Deb Jones, Executive Director. read more...
