4th JULY PARADE & STREET FEST UPDATES
Sunday, July 4th 10:30 AM to 3:30 PM
The STREET FEST will begin at 10:30 AM on Merchants Row off Main Street in Randolph and is enthusiastically sponsored by Northfield Savings Bank and supported by Day Funeral Home and Randolph Village Pizza. The Street fest is also organized by the Randolph Area Chamber of Commerce. The after-parade entertainment will be provided by the Panhandlers Steel Drum Band, by Karen Warner and Andre Vachon, and BY YOU! Valley Bowl is sponsoring Karen and Andre along with Karaoke opportunities for you and your friends. Food and activity vendors will offer a variety of treats for attendees such as barbeque chicken, maple cotton candy, ice cream, salads of all kinds, hot dogs, baked goods, Mexican food, beverages, crafts, games, information booths, and more. Fourth of July Parade and Street Fest, features this year’s theme “Stars and Stripes Forever” and is organized by the Randolph Area Chamber of Commerce. The parade starts at the Justin Morgan Marketplace (Shaw’s) parking lot on Route 12, south of Randolph. The parade is generously sponsored by Randolph National Bank, the Town of Randolph, and the Central Vermont Milk Producers Association with additional support from the Rotary Club of Randolph, Randolph Area Community Development Corporation, and Kinney Pike Insurance – The Holden Agency. This region-wide event features local bands, military personnel and vehicles, floats by civic organizations, businesses, and individuals, along with horses and area fire and emergency response departments. The parade route moves north from the Justin Morgan Marketplace to Maple St., to Earle St., to Highland Ave., and back to Main St., disbursing on School Street or straight out of town via the bridge.
