Joslyn House Provides Shared Housing for the Elderly. Offering Seniors… Security, Companionship, Daily Activity, Private Rooms, and Three meals a day. Monthly Rent: Room rent is $660 and Food Service is $450 for a total monthly rent of $1,110. Optional laundry service is available for $50/month
The Joslyn House is a shared living facility providing persons with an alternative to living alone while maintaining a high degree of independence in a family style atmosphere. Residents are provided with a private room with a shared bathroom and three meals a day, served family style and share the common areas of the house including the living and dining rooms, sun porches, a large recreational room, library and laundry room. Joslyn House does not offer Medical or Nursing Care and residents are expected to be capable of self-care and function with a high degree of independence. Further, Joslyn House does not administer or take possession of residents' medications.
Residents of Joslyn House are required to pay for room and food service and have the option of paying for laundry service. In addition, Telephone and Cable television are available in resident rooms at an extra cost charged directly by the provider of services.
The Stage Coach offers public transportation on a daily basis to many destinations within the area including the senior center, doctor's offices, downtown shopping, supermarkets, etc.
