Join us for breakfast and quality time with Betsy Bishop and Jess Gingras from the Vermont Chamber of Commerce. They will inform you about upcoming business issues the Vermont State Legislature will be discussing in 2014 and they will also answer questions on any Chamber topics - healthcare, the business climate, taxes, the job market—you ask it and they will answer it.
Betsy Bishop leads the lobbying team focusing on health care, tax and economic development policy. She has advocated for Vermont Chamber members in the State House for nearly 15 years, initially as the Vice President of Government Affairs in the 90's and now as President.
Jessica Gingras has been lobbying in the State House for three years with expertise on labor issues including workers’ compensation, unemployment insurance and workplace mandates. She also works on tax policy and telecommunications.
The Vermont Chamber has three other lobbyists on staff that focus on tourism, manufacturing and energy and environmental issues.

Holiday Tree Lighting, Carol Sign and a Visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus!
Join us the day after Thanksgiving to mark the start of the Holiday Shopping Season, and for the official turning on of the Randolph Downtown lights and Christmas Tree. Karen Warner will lead us in Chirstmas Carols and Santa and Mrs. Claus will be there to meet the kids and pass out candy canes. Friday starting at 5 PM at the Randolph Gazebo.
If you want to volunteer to help with the event, decorate the tree, or help hang the holiday wreathes, we would love to hear from you!
